The Aurora Skate Center opened in February of 1955 as Parkview Roller Rink. We are proudly a local, family owned business that has been serving our community for 70 years and are proud members of the Roller Skating Association of America.!

Learn To Skate Class (Beginner/Advanced)
This class is geared towards children 5+ yrs, but, is open to all ages.
$12 Admission
It also includes the 1-4PM afternoon Matinee that directly follows.
It DOES NOT include skate rental.
Skate rentals are available for an additional $5. (if needed)
PLEASE NOTE: You must be paid and inside by 12:10PM. NO EXCEPTIONS. It is not fair to you, the other participants or the coaches, if you are late getting started.

SAFETY FIRST!
Roller Skating (and all of its disciplines) is a very physically demanding sport! It relies heavily on balance and core strength.
PLEASE do not skate outside of your ability. If you have any impairments that may jeopardize your safety, reconsider your participation.
ILLINOIS IS AN ASSUPMTION OF RISK STATE.
We are not liable for any accidents or injuries occurring at our facility.
Anytime we put skates on, we are at risk of an injury, even at no fault of our own.
OUR CLASSES
CHOOSE YOUR LEVEL AND FOCUS
GROUP LESSONS
Saturday afternoon lessons are open to all ages!
Geared mainly towards children, we encourage families and small groups to participate as well.
Group lessons are often easier for kids to learn in.
SKATING FOR BEGINNERS
Our "Learn to Skate" program is divided into two separate classes at the same time. (Beginners/Advanced)
Our beginner class is specifically designed for new skaters. Teaching them how to get moving, how to get up when they fall and ultimately how to stop on skates.
SKATING FOR KIDS
If you have younger/newer skaters, we highly recommend a matinee (daytime) session. We do rent "Skate Trainers" during those times and the music is top40/Disney/Minions/Trolls type music.
If you have older/experienced skaters, we highly recommend an evening session. They are louder, darker and faster than matinees. (we do not rent "Skate Trainers" during night sessions)
ADULT SKATE PROGRAM
Our Monday afternoon class is an adult only class. If you are new, or, you used to skate and would like to get back on the floor, coach Roger is here to make that happen!
Monday Evening is a live music session and mostly an older crowd. (It is our least busy session of the week)
Wednesday night is Adult Night! It's a Top40/Freestyle session for 17+.
Thursday Night is a Chicago Style Skate Session! DJ Steppmasterjam blends all styles of R&B, Stepping and JB music.
BIRTHDAY and PRIVATE PARTIES!
We host Birthday Parties during our open public sessions and provide everything but the cake!
You can also book a (2 hour) Private Birthday Party for big families and/or friends to come skating.
We host Private Events/Outings for Bands/Choirs, Scouts, Youth Groups and more!
We also host fundraisers!! (Ask for more info)
SKATING CLUBS
Our Artistic/Dance Club at Aurora has two certified coaches teaching Figures/Loops, Dance, Freestyle and more!
Our Speed Team is a tremendous place to take workouts/skating to the next level! You can also compete locally, regionally or nationally if you have the drive to train for it!
We are proud to be the home rink for the Aurora 88's Roller Derby Team! It's a blast to watch, even better when you're participating!!
ALL CLUBS accept all levels of skaters after you've mastered basic skating skills.
